Welcome to this week's impromptu blog about the best fall drinks!

I don't know about you all, but this past week has been filled with exams, writing supplements for college applications, and other stressful study sessions. I usually love fall, with its beautiful weather reflecting in the falling autumn leaves, and the crisp feeling of the air in the morning as I drive to school in the morning with my younger sister. There's something undeniably beautiful and profound seeing the changing seasons in such visual changes in the surroundings. However, besides the desirable weather, fall also usually coincides with the inevitable end of the school's first quarter and the deadlines of early action decisions. Although it can be easy to shut yourself in your room and stay buried underneath the piles of work to do, I recommend taking the time to study with friends, go out for a walk, and if you can... indulging in a sweet treat or two.
By breaking out of my bad habit of staying glued to my computer screen, this past week and a half I was able to find two gems of fall drinks to suggest. The first one is an infamous pumpkin drink from Starbucks. I highly recommend the iced pumpkin cream chai tea latte. As an alternative to the even more infamous pumpkin spice latte, this drink was a perfect start to fall and motivated me on many of my afternoon study sessions. The next drink that I tried a few days ago was a boba drink from Milk Cha Cha. Although boba isn't necessarily what many equate to fall, the soft chewiness of the brown-sugar flavored tapioca sets my mind straight into a fall mood. I ordered the strawberry matcha latte with regular tapioca pearls with oat milk as I was out with a couple of friends studying. Milk Cha Cha has such a wide variety of boba drinks, combined with a perfect studying atmosphere, both of which I highly recommend.

To the left and on the bottom are images of my Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea Latte with Oat Milk. (Don't worry the other two drinks are for my friends!) Again, such a great sweet treat that fills that need for pumpkin without buying yet another pumpkin spice latte.

2. To the left here is the photo of my Strawberry Matcha Latte with Regular Tapioca Pearls. Although the combination might seem off-putting for some, there's so many other flavors that Milk Cha Cha offers with intriguing names like Strawberry Tornado and Cha-Cha Colada that I have yet to try! I would love to come back to try more of these flavors.
Whether it be studying or enjoying a sweet treat...
Take the time to enjoy this beautiful fall weather and the changing seasons with a celebratory sweet treat (or in this case a sweet drink)! There's so much to choose from with the classic pumpkin spice flavored drinks or the more unique boba drinks ranging from matcha to ube to strawberry. There's such comfort in indulging in a delightful drink, studying and chattering amongst close friends that marks the 'essential fall season'.
